¹ú²úÂ鶹AV’s Art program provides a broad foundation in studio art with classes that focus on understanding fundamental artistic concepts through research and conceptual thinking, creative problem solving, artistic skill development, and the historical functions of art and how it impacts the present day and the future.
Art majors at ¹ú²úÂ鶹AV take a wide range of courses in state-of-the-art facilities, including digital computer labs, darkrooms, and studios for wood and metal sculpture, video, printmaking, painting and drawing.
Class sizes are small, offering our Art majors personalized attention from professors who are also practicing artists. You’ll be encouraged to use art as a method of self-discovery and to reach your full potential as an artist in our evolving, visually oriented world.
